I always saw guilding, but never knew, what it was called or how it was done. The guide knew her stuff, coupled with the facts on the displays and the video. A clear picture was made of the process called guilding! great place to visit!

We have no interest in gilding, don't have anything that is gilded, but this place, while small, was a very interesting place to walk thru and read and see how leaf is made and some of the things that are gilded. Don't miss it.

This museum was rather small but very unique in what it offers. As with all other Pontiac Museums it is donation only. I love this as the town offers access for everyone. If you can afford to pay a little more, the museums are worth...More

This is a very small Museum - dedicated to the art of applying gold leaf. It is probably not worth a special trip to Pontiac, but definitely worth a stop - if in the area. Our 10 year old found the exhibits fascinating. There are...More
