It was great to see the Philippine Tarsier in their habitat. The Tarsier only exists on a few islands in the world so to see them was an awesome sight. They are a nocturnal primate and enjoy being alone so most of them were sleeping....More

Absolutely loved visiting the Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella. If you ever find yourself in Bohol wanting to see these guys make sure you go to this sanctuary; the majority of the others keep the tarsiers in cages and give them to people to hold/play with,...More

There are plenty of tarsier places, but this is a sanctuary. Choose this over those other places. You need to stay quiet, put your phone on silent mode, remove the flash on your camera. You will see per person that is near the tree where...More

Don't expect too much when going here. You will see a series of tarsiers hugging trees near to the footpath, some sleeping and others awake. Each is watched by a guide who will have located the tarsier early in the morning. Compared to other animal...More

Can’t believe People are still going to the other place where tarsiers are kept in cages! Here the tarsiers are keep in the wild where they can roam freely. I’m still not 100% sold it’s humane but much better than cages!

Make sure to go to this sanctuary because they give the territorial tarsiers enough space and use the funds for conservation efforts. We arrived early and are glad we did because it was buzzing by half nine. You walk into the conservation area and are...More

Absolutely loved our visit to the Philippine Tarsier and wildlife sanctuary. 60 pesos to get in was an absolute bargain for what you get to see. The guide was really useful to help you find/see the tarsiers.

This is a review for Corella Tarsier Sanctuary. I visited the Corella Tarsier Sanctuary believing it to be the better way to see Tarsiers in Bohol, as mentioned in the Lonely Planet etc. Having read the reviews on TA and seeing the negative ones I...More

Place is really small and you visit there quicly, especially if there's no queues. Entrance fee is 60PHP/person and in my opinion well worth it. I got the feel that animals are respected there and their wellbeing is the priority. Tarsiers sleep during the day...More

Easiest would be to rent a scooter and head there, about an easy 30 min ride. Combine that with Chocolate hills, Bohol and Man made forests, you can spend a day.

Both sights you mentioned are in Bohol. The tarsier sancturary is not that far away from Tagbilaran (20-25 minutes?), but you will have to hire a driver to take you there anyway. Chocolate Hills are little further into the... More

There are several ferry companies that run between Cebu and Bohol. I used the SuperCat ferry that runs three times per day, each way (nice, comfortable fast ferry). The journey takes 2 hours to the Tagbilaran ferry... More
