Interesting use of space -- I would imagine a large number of congregants could hear from any place in the sanctuary, as the pews are -- well, you should see it! Of course, it's in Frank Lloyd Wright's own unique style, although it's from early...More

The Unity Temple is well worth the visit for any student of architecture or admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright. They offer an audio self-guided tour that is very informative. They have limited hours for tours, so check before you go.

From the outside, the Unity Temple, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, does not look particularly interesting but inside it approaches perfection, in form and design. This is one of the highlights of Chicago for anyone interested in architecture or design. His lights are especially elegant....More

We were fortunate to tour the temple shortly after its completed restoration. The design, color scheme, use of light and mostly the feeling you get after entering are really special.

We did this as part of the Wright Around Chicago tour. I feel that the guided tour really enhanced the experience and showed us a lot of details we would have otherwise missed. Very interesting how the temple is like a fortress from the outside...More

Yes the building is typically open until noon on Saturdays but I'd open to the Public for services on Sunday. Check online for your availability with FLA trust for tours and Unity Temple for services
