Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The beautiful place? Sure, but in high season I can't think of going back to any place like this.
It is not worth going on the road if you do not guarantee to be able to arrive and park.
1:30 of 2- and 3-speed turn road in the car, to arrive and find the parking lot full and return where you came from.
By bus I wouldn’t go for what, to get to the site and be full of people everywhere?, and then when I get back in endless queues to catch the bus?
Mallorca is beautiful (in state several times), but this 2024 has been insufferable, completely crowded with tourists (like me). Too many people.
I don't go back to the Balearics unless it's in the off-season.
To all this, for security reasons, if anything happens there how do you evacuate so many people?
Mismanagement of access by local authorities. They should take action with regard to limited access to people, limit access only to public transport by shuttle bus, but not let people ride roughshod.

Possibly one of the most unique experiences I've had to get to a beach anywhere in the world. I have no doubt its at its best outside of peak season but walking through the dark tunnels (dug by hand) is a marvel and then popping out onto a pebble beach squeezed between two cliff faces is something you have to see. Just try to imagine it without throngs of people.
It was too hot to take the 6km hike so we enjoyed the crystal clear water for a dip instead

Due to construction work in the tunnel, you cannot walk from Sa Calobra to the torrent until the end of March. From the restaurant, it is only about 150 m to the right to the entrance of the tunnel. So you only have to pay the parking fee for a short time. The drive along the winding road is still worth it. The Miradores offer a wonderful view, the rocky landscape is impressive.

We hiked from Escorca down to the Sa Calobra beach through the canyon of Torrent de Pareis. We arrived to the starting point by bus from Soler and departed by boat from end point to Port de Soller.
What was supposed to be a 4h hike turned into a 6h one for the following reasons:
- Badly marked directions. Red markings are often washed out or they appear allover the rocks. At some point they turn into blue arrows, but those are for the ones ascending upwards. We thus lost considerate amounts of time to figure out where to go to overcome various boulders. Authorities should refresh the markings urgently if they are to promote this hike.
- Absence of supportive infrastructure at tricky parts. There are close to zero helpers (e.g. to use ropes, which we did not have anyhow), which makes some parts of the descend very difficult. There are not that many such parts, so it is a shame authorities don’t take care of this to ease the hike.
- Very difficult passages. While not hiking alone is a general rule, it applies in practice in this hike as there were some boulders which could only be overcome in a pair, helping out each other with physical support.
Note that depending on your accomodation location, the arrival to Escorca and departure from Sa Calobra is not easy to manage (unless leaving a car at the start and taking a taxi back upwards), as the bus 355 connecting the two points was discontinued recently.

Fantastic bay with fantastic prices. A must! The only downside that costs 3 points is the overpriced food and drink. A quarter of a glass of self-service wine costs a whopping €16.
That's outrageous. Bring your own food and drink.

We went up the canyon with a guide, it was fabulous!
We went to the junction, 7km, then turned around. We feel very small in the middle of these gigantic walls
With our fairly sporty 12 and 15 year old daughters, things are going well, with many passages to climb. We highly recommend taking a guide. Ours was great, he gave us a lot of explanations about the canyon. In total, 14 km and 1000 D+ in approximately 4h15
As for the beach, it is pretty but very busy. Boats and buses pour out hundreds of tourists continuously. When we arrived at 8 a.m., not a cat, but the colors were less pretty
And parking, €15 in cash for 7 hours
In short, we highly recommend for the canyon and less for the beach

The journey to the Torrent de Pareis gorge is an adventure in itself, and when you arrive you are rewarded with a beautiful beach and a breathtaking landscape. Unfortunately, this natural paradise is plagued by masses of tourists who arrive by bus. The prices on site are outrageous and overpriced. Some of the local people behave so brazenly that you have to be embarrassed. Despite the impressive nature, you should therefore be prepared for some inconveniences.

We visited Mallorca in December. This is the main hiking season, weather is excellent, around 20C.
To reach the Torrent de Pareis you shall leave your car at a parking area (it was free now), and take a walk to Port Sa Calobra, it is around 3 mins. There are small restaurants, this time only one (the big one near the steps) was open - what a horrible experience: dirty place with ugly-looking food, full of oil, uh.
So, from the port you shall walk on, you are aided by sign that lead you to the torrent. YOu have to walk through two tunnels, take headlights or make lights with your phone, as it is dark inside, cool breeze blows.
By reaching the torrent on the left you shall walk to the sea, careful, waves can be tricky! The torrent itself is on the right, with mountains surrounding it, and the small creek creates a little world for fishes, birds - amazing view, amazing experience.
Do not forget to take hking shoes, as, obviously the torrent is covered with pebbles. Kids love playing around, for sure

Me and my partner visited this beach as we had seen soo many positive reviews about it. The car journey to the beach is very picturesque, however the roads are very narrow and other drivers don’t seem to understand the concept of driving on the right hand side.
When arriving it was chaos, but we were able to find a parking space and we headed down. The walk is lovely and the scenery is beautiful, until you get to the actual beach. The entire beach is just pebbles, and it is saturated with people. The people we encountered on the beach had no basic manners and were extremely rude. It was like visiting a typical UK beach, litter dotted around and people running wild.
We only visited for a short time and made our way back to the car. When exiting the car park and paying at the kiosk, the worker became agitated that we needed to pay by card. He asked if we had seen the signs (the signs aren’t clear) that we can’t pay by card at the kiosk. I had also seen someone else pay by card at the kiosk previously. He eventually got his card machine and we paid, but only after him getting angry with us, making gestures, and being ridiculously dramatic (as though we had wronged him personally) customer service is non existent.
If you’ve seen this beach being advertised on social media it is most likely a complete catfish.

To be paired with the cove beside AND "cala tuent", really closeby. We did not bathe because there were many jellyfish around unfortunately.
Despite covid it was pretty busy so I guess in high season it must be packed, it is quite small.
You can walk into the canyon, I wonder how far as it just kept going!

Ma il sentiero è ben indicato e quando ci si impiega più o meno? Posso chiederle anche dove avete lasciato l'auto?
Grazie

Sorry, my Spanish is not good enough to answer in your language. I left my car at Escorca at the top of the gorge and hiked down to Sa Colobra. There is then a bus back to Escorca at 1500. Enjoy the hike - it's fabulous. If you look out for the indicator signs the path is fairly easy to follow.

Yes, although I agree with FreekZ above about the timing. However, parking at Sa Colobra would be a nightmare for a motor home (buses have their own area) so you would be better to hire a small car for a day.
