We stayed at the cabin for 3 days and had a great time. The cabin is very beautiful and cozy. It has 2 rooms and comes with a twin bed and 2 bunk beds with mattresses. We brought our sleeping bags and pillows to use on top on the mattress. There is table with 6 chairs inside and have electricity... More

I love kayaking here! It is extremely relaxing and fun. I usually spend about an hour on the water. Rock Cut is also a lovely place to picnic and catch the sunset over the water. There are lots of benches in the picnic areas.

A great park to camp. I saw some online reviews about the slope of the camp sites and this is true. I had reserved on In plum grove and it was too sloped for me to level in a very small camper, but luckily was not full and found one nearby that was great. One of the best campgrounds for... More

Lake? This place is more like a pond or a creek. The guy that was at the front desk thing was super rude. We asked if we could go see what the water looked like and he laughed and replied very impolitely. When we got in the water was so disgusting. It was dirt brown. We were so mad that... More

I've been here twice in the last 3 weeks because it's easy to get to and the park is so big, it feels like you're the only one there! I definitely get my flora and fauna fix. I had a deer stand by my car while I talked to her, saw bunnies all over the place, and met up with... More

This was our first time at this campground. We typically always stay in state parks because they have larger camping spaces and more trails and larger lakes. This seems to be a pretty busy campground and state park. We camped in the staghound loop spot 327. This spot was very private but narrow between the brush and trees on both... More

There is a boat rental area that charges a reasonable price. You can fish, hike, picnic, and they don't have a daily admission fee, unlike other states. This is a beautiful place.

At Rock Cut State Park you will be greeted by a long trail with long grasses lining one side and open views of the lake and area from a higher level in some places. The hiking is also very good as there are natural flowers that you may not see somewhere else and the climbing is minimal such as high... More
