Can't beat fun at the ol' ballpark

Baseball is fun no matter what level is being played. No, you are not going to see a Major League caliber game, but it is still fun seeing a play you have never seen before. It is also a good way to introduce young children to the game without big expense of a big league ballpark - and parking is... More

Silver Cross field is a very nice venue. It's well designed and well managed and it's a great place to watch a ballgame. If you have problems walking up steps (as I do) there are elevators available to get you where you need to go. The restrooms are clean and plentiful. Very entertaining place to go.

We had lots of fun and they had a firework show at the end. It was very clean. We went on a night when they had vendors giving free products and my niece had a blast.

The town of Joliet is so lucky to have this attraction! The stadium was beautiful, the staff were great, the activities during and after each game were so quaint, and the players were great. Tickets and ballpark food was incredibly affordable too!

It's unfortunate that the Slammers are not more popular. I used to work for the team and Silver Cross Field is probably the best stadium in their league. The facility is still somewhat new and in great condition. There's seating along both baselines as well as grass seating. Nice scoreboard, great deals on food. It's independent baseball but kids will... More

The silver cross stadium is amazing it has lots of seating and grass seating which is nice. You can talk to the players on the bench and much more. They have one gift shop and many places to eat. Me and my friends always go to these games and have so much fun at them. The tickets are very cheap... More

If you are in town, take a day or night to watch a game in this little gem tucked in the downtown of Joliet. Parking is free and found all around the stadium. The tickets are reasonable and I don't think that there's a bad seat to be had. They have a huge scoreboard and decent ballpark food. The staff... More

Watching baseball here is awesome! I've been several times over the last few years & have never had a bad seat, including the lawn. Reasonable priced tickets to make taking a family out for a fun afternoon/evening enjoyable without taking out a 2nd mortage.
