This review is mainly for the accessibility of the location - my son is in a wheelchair. The building itself, including exhibits on the second floor are all accessible. The floating path to bog and the paths around are not all that great for a...More

Fabulous example or a tamarack bog. Cool nature path take you through this relic of the ice age. This environment is much like area found far north in Canada. Nice small museum and gift show. Animals include herons, hawks, raccoons, and muskrats.

Beautiful place to hike. Short floating trail through the bog, and a long moderate hike around it. Lovely mix of trees and prairie.

A beautiful outdoor experience, anytime of year, but Spring is spectacular with all of the wildlife being active. Many, many species of birds, enjoy the boardwalk through the bog or visit the indoor barn with its interactive displays. A hidden treasure.
