Huys te Warmont is the cute kind of castle of the Estate Huys te Warmond. It's probably from 1300 with two different towers, one with a clock and the other with sundial. The house is now a private property and not open to the public but the estate is open for the public. It's a nice area to walk around and enjoy the nature. We found some special trees and also a Gnome Forest. It's funny to see it.

We visited the park around the castle, but could not go into the castle itself which is being restored. The outside of the castle is quite romantic and reflects its early origins and long history. The park around it is lovely especially with the taxus trees which must be hundreds of years old.

The Huys te Warmond has a long history dating back to the 14th century. The public are allowed to walk freely in the grounds, which are quiet and many mainly dominated by the tall trees. Dogs are allowed on a lead. I don’t believe public access is allowed to the House, which is a pity, but the external views are impressive. There is limited free parking and plenty of space for leaving your bike at the gate if you have cycled.
