At 45 hectares, Oatley Park is one of the largest urban parks in Sydney. It is a magnificent bushland and recreational area located in a forested promontory jutting into George's River and bounded by Lime Kiln Bay and Jewfish Bay. There are some magnificent isolated walks along the foreshore areas offering gorgeous views across the Georges River and Lime Kiln... More

Oatley park is about 100 hectares of bush land park on the Georges River in Oatley. A kids playground, a football/cricket oval, a river beach, picnic areas, bush walks, cycling, wild life etc. I have visited Oatley park many times over several decades for walks, cycling, picnics and sporting events. It is a gem in suburbia with something for just about... More

This is a 17 hectare piece of Sydney bush land. It has been scared by vandals marking caves on the western Mortdale Heights side of the park. But the rest is great and kept natural. There are several walking tracks around the headlands and picnic and play areas for families. You can swim in the river in the netted baths... More

Being local i love how we have this next door.I take my dog for walks there and my wife runs there most mornings.Great parks and swings for the kids and if you want to have a party there get there early and set up your space as it can get quite competitive sometimes for the best locations.

Oatley Park is a great place to explore. I enjoy going for a walk simply feeling like I'm in the bush rather than in suburbia (which is only a few minutes away). There's also a well kept picnic area with lovely views of the George's River - sit back and stare off into the distance. One thing to keep in... More

A very quiet park for a bbq or a picnic .... swimming is fine in netted off area in Georges River and the fort / castle is a very good place to relax from the heat on a hot day

Oatley Park is perfect for safe bushwalking, and exploring with children. The castle, an old lookout built early last century, is great for parties and BBQs. The river beach, with a shark net, is perfect for summer swimming. I walk there a few times every week, enjoying the views over the water of the Georges River. A great playground on... More
