Thoughtfully geared to small children... the grocery store, the cafe, and transportation centers caprivated our 4 yr old twins imagination. The music room introduces many musical concepts ... we made our own song too! We spent two hours there and could easily have stayed longer....More
At first, was a little bit concerned with the steep $13/person (adult and child) admission price and the museum, all on one floor, didn't seem very large. However, once we got going, we realized the space was subdivided into many interesting exhibits for the kids....More
We took our two grandchildren (ages 10 and 5) here for some child-worthy R & R. The order one acted as a tour guide, helping the 5 year old navigate the various stations and experiences. A great time was had by all.
Perfect kids museum for toddler to about 8 years old. Many exhibits and we spent about 2 hours here. Definitely one of the better children’s museums I have visited. Best part for me was the Cosi location inside the museum, every Cosi location I know...More
When in town I’ve visited over the winter and recently this month again with friends and family. It’s so much fun for the kids to run around and explore all of the different rooms and areas. I love that it is all on one level.

Kohl Children's Museum focuses on age group 0-8 which is more in-line with Dupage Children's Museum. Chicago Children's Museum caters to a larger age group range. What is nice about the 0-8 age group focus is that the exhibits are made for those ages and the little children are not overcrowded by older children.
Kohl also has free parking throughout. The other museum's are not 100% free parking.
