My husband and I had an amazing time walking and exploring the grounds of this lovely estate. Pretty photo ops any time of year. This park sits on the banks of the Fox River.

Of course the house itself is lovely, but the surrounding woods and the Japanese Garden are full of excellent spots for photo ops, and whimsical statues and structures can be found throughout. I highly reccomend this spot for events like engagement shoots, prom pics, &...More

We're sorry to hear about your difficult trip! There is language on our website about the path condition, but could easily be overlooked so we are relocating it to a more prominent location due to your review. The bridge is quite steep, but is optional...More

Colonel Fabyan seemed to be an interesting guy and learning more about his history and the history of the area was interesting. Worth attending.

The Forest Preserve is 235 acres. That's the best I can do. Try calling the Geneva Parks Dept. Maybe they can help.

According to MapQuest it's 0.81 miles. It might be a nice walk if the weather is good or it certainly wouldn't cost much to take a cab. I hope that helps!
