Just a short walk across the pedestrian bridge (beautiful views!), over the river, to the well-maintained Grant Park. Old war trophy canons and a large statue of General Grant. Well worth the stroll across the bridge.

This is one of the loviest parks. It has interesting statues and cannons with plaques to read that give you historical facts. The view over the river is breathtaking. It is truly an old fashioned park and one you will enjoy.

This is a smaller, self guided tour of statues, cannons, etc. Very nice. If you are there anyway, walk through.

A nice and green park in the center of the city with good displays and lot of free area to stroll. Access is easy and is not very crowded. It has some military equipment on display along with a statue of Grant.
