Wonderful camp sites with many washrooms and places you can shower. There is also a day area for non-campers with a beach, a trail that passes some large rocks, and multiple picnic spots. This park is well maintained and I can't think of a better...More

This is the first time I've visited the park since the "big Reno". We haul a 17' TT (which is small compared to today's monsters). The main roads are all paved now, which does cut down on the dust. The sites however, are mostly gravel,...More

This past summer we took our 4 year old son on his first tent camping trip here and he loved it. The park was very nice, with access to the lake for swimming. Not all the campsites had direct access to the water but ours...More

We stayed here for 2 nights on site 61. If you have a pre-existing reservation there is no check in process and you can proceed directly to your campsite. Because this is a self registration park meaning that there are no on site staff to...More

We always camp in the walk-in tent sites. The sites are private, spacious and clean. The firepits are large and has a great swimming area. The condition of washrooms/showers are better than a lot of hotels

This park is nice for camping, but I don't believe you can just go there for the day. The lake is surrounded by pine tree and classic Canadian looking swimming areas. The unfortunate downside is that it is a few miles from Oakfield park which...More

We are not campers, but have used Laurie park as a great place to go for a walk, and enjoy the lake. On our last visit, the park gates were closed, but we just parked in the exterior parking lot and walked in. Because the...More

if you want to get away from the city for a few nights camping, or you are stopping on your way through, this is a convenient location. It's clean, and like all of the provincial campgrounds have tried, it's good decent amenities. .
