A short drive out of town that small cave / temple boasts excellent stucco wall relief carvings. Foreigners are required to make a reasonable MMK4,000 donation. Combine an evening visit (much quieter) with dinner at nearby Thai Village Restaurant.

This cave is very historic, and the old murals and carvings are interesting. More expensive admission than Sadan Cave, although smaller and not kept up nearly as well (i.e. lots of litter).

The Lord Buddha satues deep inside the caves really amazes anyone visiting. Very cool and serene. A good place to meditate.

This lime stone cave is beautifully decorated with small votive tablets and Buddha Imgaes seemed to be built Hindu-dominant style or earliest carving art. The cave is peaceful and quiet. This cave is the most beautiful one in Kayin State. Around there, some local souvenir...More

If you like Buddha statues, go here!! We counted thousands of them. The cave itself is not really special, but the many buddha's make this a great photo location. There are monkeys, but they mind their own business.
