Nice views of the Chicago River from the Wyndham Grand Riverfront. Better views at nighttime. A must see!

Most visitors only drive by, along the bridge that connects motorists to the center of the city. There is a walkway, underneath, that pedestrians can use, to get a better look. Surprise: The "river" is a man-made canal that connects to the Mississippi river!

We enjoyed walking along the river, marveling at the scenic view and beautiful buildings. It is fun waving at the boats and the people are having a great time waving back to us.

Just a nice stroll down the river is relaxing and entertaining. There are lots of venues that you'll pass along the way, and if you get thirsty stop at a local bar or resturant for one of their Chicago Specials! Enjoy

I don’t think I could ever get tired of either walking on cruising on a tourist boat along this river. I think Chicago have put such great investment into creating such wonderful walks and leisure areas along the river.

I was lucky to visit Chicago during the days of St.Patrick so the river had striking green color. River goes through the city lined by pedestrian walks, crossed by many nice bridges.
