We passed this statue when we on the Big bus passing it. I didn't know that Picasso had given it to Chicago so that was interesting to hear. If you are nearby or interested in Picasso's art you should check this out.

Well you have to like his art, or you dont. I do, This piece was given to the people of Chicago free of charge by the Man Himself because he liked the city so much

Chicago is known for its excellent outdoor sculpture. This large piece, centrally located in the main government plaza, dominates the area.

This statue was erected in 1967 and described as the face of a woman, a tItle that has puzzled many for years. Certainly, if you look at it head on it has more of an equine feel. However, if you stroll round and the light...More

Found this statue on accident. Was attending the AAHP ceremony in the plaza and just so happened this is where the statue was. It's rumored the statue was supposed to remind Picasso of a lover? I thought it was giraffe! Anyhow, if you're in the...More

This huge statue looks fantastic in Daley plaza. As we passed by it on our way to dinner, many people (tourists?) stopped by to take photos by it. Yes, lots of selfies too.

This "statue" left me pretty cold. I certainly would not make a special trip to see it - but then, it's a Picasso you I guess the arts part of me says you should at least see it.

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and
flavor. This central business district boasts
Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier
shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep
your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of
