Attended the large RSNA yearly convention. Terrific complimentary bus transportation from hotels to the McCormick Place. Massive convention center. Large display floors for the myriad of international conglomerates and vendors. Lots of lecture rooms. Atrocious awful food. Limited food choices. Just terrible. Expensive. No where to sit. Every year, just no place to sit. Almost no place to sit and... More

As a place for big conventions McGormick Place is adequate. What follows is my impression of McCormick Place Food Court. It is terrible! I ordered a curry and it was, frankly speaking, uneatable, with every ingredient, including rice and vegetables, being awful. And it was outrageously expensive. McCormick Place is not surrounded by restaurants and one do not have much... More

If you com from a smaller city (I'm from Milwaukee) this will blow your mind. They can build 2 story buildings inside the exhibit hall. and its right on the lakefront.

I attended a scientific meeting at McCormick Place. The place is beautiful and very big. You can get lost in it. Visit here to appreciate the architectural beauty of this place. Other than that, nothing else to do as far as I know.

Nice conference center. Central section had a water show of sorts and plenty of light. If you get cold, bring a jacket since the a/c is cold. Wear comfortable shoes b/c this place is large. FitBit clocked in over 10K/day just walking to the difference conference rooms!

Recently attended the national ophthalmology meeting at the center, 25K+ attendees with a large equipment display area. Spacious beyond belief, wear confortable walking shoes there is a lot of ground to cover. The American Academy always does a great job of organizing the space. It is in a great location near Soldier Field. The is taxi/uber/bus and train access. Pro... More
