Such an amazing way to learn about remodeling or building. EVERYTHING is there, including a great place for lunch. Went to the Sub Zero Wolfe and the Meile showrooms. WOW! great experiences

It would days or even weeks to fully explore all the shops and showrooms in this location. I am remodeling a bathroom and wanted to sit in various spa tubs so I started there but quickly moved on to light fixtures, tile, area rugs, fixtures and abstract art! Most sites are open to the public but there are some that... More

The world's largest office building for a long time, we did a very nice cooking class here with our niece for her high school graduation....she loved it. We spent a few minutes shopping the stores too....mostly home stores, it was more interesting for us than her, but it's a great place to get design ideas and help and even purchases.

We checked out this beautiful building from the river. It was fantastic. I hope we will have time to go inside.

I attend the Casual Furniture Show every year and walk miles in this huge complex of manufacture showrooms. I think I heard that it is the 2nd largest office building after the Pentagon. They have retail stores and services on the first 2 floors. I think they even have their own zip code. They have their own Metro stop on... More

Outstanding place to go for ideas. We are building and I wanted to get ideas on appliances, flooring, cabinets, etc... It could be overwhelming, but honestly I walked away hours later with tons of ideas and suggestions from all the businesses. I went into most stores, and have to say I really like GE Monogram store. Georgie was outstanding, very... More

Enjoyed spending several hours here on a Thursday afternoon touring the various design centers. Expensive stuff but items hard to find anywhere else. Food court described inside on 2nd level not much to it, so eat elsewhere. Lovely lit up at night.

This is a very historic building. To get the full story and know what you are seeing, I think you need to have a tour guide, as we did (Chicago Architectural Foundation). This building is in change mode right now, lots of businesses moving in and lots of restaurants following the crowd. El delivers you right to door, on second... More

What a place. It's quite large, located right on the river, and has a spectacular view of the river and the city. This is a very well known place. Get to know it, you will enjoy it.

This has to be one of the oldest buildings in Chicago and I have to admit that it is very beautiful. You can access the building either from a crosswalk located in the building next-door or through one of its many doors. On the second floor you will find a lot of food choices from McDonald's, Starbucks and other eateries... More
