The largest commercial building in the world. First two floors are essentially a mall, and the rest is business offices.

The Merchandise is a HUGE yet beautiful facility boasting over 1M square feet. The architecture inside is amazing and the building is easily navigated. The walk to the mart is nice as it's set alongside the river.

This grandiose building on the Chicago River is owned by the Kennedy's. All except 2 floors are open to trade only. You can see the best home designs there but you can't buy it unless you have a trade contact. A couple times yearly they...More

Came to find bargains, but this place is more for wholesale to retail clients. Years ago they used to have more available to the public. Historic building

The building takes up a whole city block and really sticks out, so you can't miss it, but it's almost all office space with some retail on the lower level. The brown line EL has a stop right at this building

Even if you have no reason to go in, it's a remarkable building to see. Make a point of it. How many times do you get to lay eyes on a hundred-year-old building that takes an entire city block, was the largest commercial building in...More
