I agree, give what you think is appropriate. I was in a small group and it looked as if everyone gave something. I really enjoyed the guide and gave $20.

Is it possible to do 2-3 tours in a day? Concerns: meeting points and distance to get from one be point to the next start point

Yes. We did the morning inside the loop tour with Andy and the afternoon Lincoln Park tour. Be careful; some tours overlap. Expect 90 minutes to 2 hours for each tour.
