What a cool fountain and piece of art. I visited it on 2 different days to take photos, enjoy the surroundings and watch people play in the water. A fun place!

This beautiful fountain shows the changing faces of digital images during the hot summer season. Many children and young couples enjoy the water after taking off the shoes and even get soaked with the cool water. Worth to visit and take video recording to remember...More

Nice digital display particularly after sunset and good for children in summer due to fountain , side by side to millennium park.

We loved it so much we went twice in 3 days. Day one there were a lot of children playing in the water which added to the joyful ambience. the moving photos are captivating and loved the fountain's otherwise understated design

This fountain surprised me as soon as we entered the Millenium Park. It has 2 walls that project images and in one of them there is a man or woman throwing water.

The Crown fountain was unique when compared with the other fountains in the area. The symmetry of the two sides is interesting and you can see the reflection of the fountain in the pool.

This is a very clever fountain, and we really enjoyed seeing it. It was great to see even in the freezing cold, so I can imagine it’s even better when the water is running! We were there in December, and we were glad that only...More

I've visited my fair share of cities, and I'll tell you I've never seen any attraction that connects a city to its local inhabitants quite like this! Crown fountain features photos from hundreds of local Chicagoans on two 50 foot tall towers. The two towers...More

Crown Fountain is not a swimming pool. It never gets deeper than your ankle. Nobody changes into bathing suits. They wade and kick and splash and little ones think it's heaven. Kick off your shoes and join the fun

The fountain's water feature operates from mid-spring thru' till mid-fall... so I guess it just depends on the weather in any particular year. Mid-fall is so ambiguous!!
