This fountain is designed to show the great diversity of Chicago inhabitants. The faces change frequently and the day we visited was hot and sunny, there were many families enjoying the two fountains and lots of children having great time splashing around in the waters

I visited this fountain and saw a lot of little ones having fun in the shallow water. I didn’t feel there was a lot too it. It would be interesting to know the history and how it works for the grown up crowd.

This was definitely something to see, a bit strange but unique at the same time. We saw it at night and it gave a whole different perspective.

This famous fountain is just around the corner from "the bean." When I was there in summer 2018 it was hot and sunny, so all the kids were running around the fountain getting wet and having fun. This is a great place to just watch...More

Located in Millenium Park, in downtown Chicago, on Michigan Avenue, there are the two fountains with faces spouting water. Kids love to run through the water and play in it.

This fountain and area is really fantastic! So relaxing and entertaining at the same time. We picked up a beverage from the nearby Starbuck's and took a little break. Well done, Chicago, well done!

Crown Fountain is not a swimming pool. It never gets deeper than your ankle. Nobody changes into bathing suits. They wade and kick and splash and little ones think it's heaven. Kick off your shoes and join the fun

The fountain's water feature operates from mid-spring thru' till mid-fall... so I guess it just depends on the weather in any particular year. Mid-fall is so ambiguous!!
