We went here with my boyfriend for a visit and luckily theres an event in the park, some kind of festival as well. Great place to chill and relax.

the park is much nicer in real life, plenty of room interesting architecture and sculputure and the ice ring was set up for the hoilidays.....we enjoyed it

The family decided to visit the downtown Loop of Chicago. We took the Metra train from the South suburbs of Matteson into Chicago. The kids loved the train experience. The train has a conductor who walks each train car to collect the tickets/fares. Most conductors are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the trainline, fares and points of interest. Was nice to see the giant bean. There was ice skating, some art show, then everything around white (snow). So we walked back. The wind made it feel colder (yep! We were bundle up). There is lots of things to see around. If the weather was nicer it would have been more pleasant. I would say enjoy! And super bundle... More

Public restrooms for the win. It's got everything. Lovely views, wide walkways, trees, modern art, and location. Perfect spot for a picnic downtown.
