A little hard to get to... most likely have to walk a mile and half from Michigan Avenue if you're seeing a concert, but totally worth it!

Formerly Meig's Field airport- Northerly Island is one cool destination just off the beaten path. Accessible via Bettie Coleman drive which is a right turn off Solidarity- the road to the planetarium (didn't know that street was named Solidarity, did ya'?)- this is a park...More

Went to see Donnie Brothers and Chicago last night. Thought we had great seats until we got there! The seats are folding chairs made for a hundred pound person. They are cable tied together. Now imagine a full row of overweight 50-60 years olds siting...More

Attended the 2017 Country LakeShake Music Festival. As before the Venue is great. My problem was the prices for all the concessions. A mixed drink lemonade was $19.00. A Burger was $14.00. Didn't have a beer but I could only imagine. My wife spoke to...More

South Loop
This downtown neighborhood offers a variety of
activities ranging from cultural to sporting. If you
happen to visit during football season, you may bump
into a boisterous few fans on their way to a Bears
game on the southernmost tip of South Loop. On the
flip side, Museum Campus offers cultural and
educational experiences in its planetarium, museum and
aquarium, all situated along the lakefront. Grant Park
