We had an awesome time catching up, dancing, talking and eating! The food was great with an array of dishes to choose from and I'm sure everyone left quite satisfied!! We also had a complimentary champagne toast! The service on the vessel was nothing short of excellent!! Thank you to Ms. Fallen Armster, Restaurant Manager of the Spirit of Chicago,... More

This cruise in itself is very nice and worth it. The problem was in booking it. I had read that it is better to book it ahead online as the cruise fills up quickly. I did this and it was not mentioned that TicketMaster handles this for them. When the confirmation come back later, it had a different time that... More

Overall a good time, however, the DJ only wanted to play clean versions of songs. Claimed he would take requests but didn't take any of mine.. he had a very cheesy taste in music. As a guy with a picky taste in music, the music will either make or break the environment for me. Although I wasn't too happy with... More

Took a dinner cruise with a private event. The food was surprisingly good and varied for such an event. Boat was in good condition and we went back and forth in front of the Chicago waterfront to enjoy the skyline at night. Lovely night with a near-full moon. Very good experience.

We booked a cruise on Lake Michigan for my wife's birthday. Three of the ships seem to be owned by the same company--we chose this one because we preferred a buffet to a sit-down dinner. The buffet did not disappoint. The ship was not nearly full as we took the evening cruise on a Thursday night. Staff was more than... More

Went with 42 of my friends and had an awesome evening and dinner. A great way to see the city at sunset and after dark. It is a little on the spendy side. Cash bar only.

Not worth the price. A variety of music is not played to be enjoyed by all. Seems like the DJ's doesn't know the music they are playing that is in Spanish (not popular music). Toddlers were on the dance floor bumping into guests. The parents nor the cruise management did nothing about it. Carpet smelled seemed not be cleaned in... More

We decided to see the air and water show on the Spirit Of Chicago. First off when you get on the boat, they take you picture and then you are kind of on your own, no one told us really which deck to proceed to. Once on the level we were seated in a row of tables so close to... More

We wanted to do something different on our trip- 4 friends meeting up for a weekend in Chicago. And we came across the brunch cruise. Not sure what to expect, but feeling as though the price was good considering brunch AND cruise were involved, we decided to try it last weekend. It was perfect! Wonderful views, nice selection of food... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
