Blue Chicago is a very little place, pretty dark and old. For ten dollars you are going to experience real spirit of blues. My second time, first was on 2013, same feelings, same impressive ambient. A must, in my oppinion.

We absolutely loved our night here! The band was incredible and even though the place is crowded and smells musty, it has great character! We got there just after 8:00pm and got a good seat, any time after that and you’d struggle to get a...More

Had a great time at Blue Chicago! Our only mistake was waiting for the last night of our trip to go here. Loved the atmosphere, the generous drinks and most importantly...the music. Shout out to the bar staff...no armatures here!

Great performance by local Chicago blues band, Sheryl Youngblood. Club is near the Magnificent Mile. Yes, the space is tiny. No food, just drinks, hard or soft if you like. A modest admission fee yields an entertaining night out. The audience was from around the...More

Not our 1st time here. We were happy to see that Demitria Taylor was singing. We arrived and luckily found 1 seat at the bar. The band was SO good and played by themselves for a set. People were dancing and the crowd seemed a...More

A good place to listen to good blues. No food just drinks, like marguerita, Tom Collins and Whisky Sour.

There is a $10 cover charge on weekdays and a $12 cover charge on weekends with a two drink minimum. Drinks are from five dollars to seven dollars, very affordable place to watch hear great music. We stopped in twice during our stay in Chicago...More

Great venue for Chicago blues. Looking for a fancy, upscale venue? This is not your place. This is more like a favorite neighborhood bar but with wonderful music. Of course, different performers each night but I bet you can’t go wrong. We went on a...More

This is a small old club that at least on the night we were there had fantastic Blues acts. We got there at 8pm right after they opened. Shows start at 9pm. If you want a seat get there early because the place is small...More

I agree with Traveler_Monster about circulation, we got there a few minutes after 8, got seated right away and stayed about 3 hours, drinking and dancing. People do come and go and the place is so small there's no bad... More

Don't know about Sundays, but there was a $10.00 entry fee (not a cover) when I was there last month.
