Typical shopping mall like you would find in the suburbs. Starbucks, Claire's, Lego store, American Girl Doll store. Escalators.

Water Tower Place located on the Magnificent Mile was when constructed one of the nation's first vertical malls and I found it to be beautifully designed and though I'm not a shopper my partner is and I did enjoy spending some time there. It has...More

Nothing unique about this mall. Most of these places can be found at any mall. They have Garrett's Popcorn on the 7th floor, which is the best popcorn ever!

Lots of shops in this nice 7 level building. There's a great souvenir shop on the 7th level. And the Garret's popcorn shop rarely has a line.

We visited at around 7 pm and the place was dead, nothing unique here. Every store we passed by was empty save for the employees who didn’t look up from their phones to great anyone. My husband went into the Nike store looked at three...More

Water Tower has been a destination since a young girl. Great place to shop, stroll and eat. I miss the Movie Theatre that I grew up with and it's always good to be on Michigan Ave. You have a world within Water Tower and right...More

Water Tower Place might have the most expensive parking lot in the city, not much has changed in 30 years(except the water fall), and it's slowly becoming the teen hangout spot of Michigan Ave. There are very few deals in this high end mall; it's...More

It is the atrium-style shopping mall that brought me into this 859-foot-high skyscraper, across the street from the historic water tower. I wanted to see what kind of stores it offers and how this mall compares to the other two on the Magnificent Mile. The...More

Nice place to visit, not a whole lot there, but neat that it survived the fire. There was a Cards-Against-Humanity exhibit there that was interesting. I've been to Chicago countless times, but i've never actually been in this until this trip. Worth the visit...and it's...More

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
