I've found myself over the years going here for the special exhibitions (Calder, Chuck Close, Doris Salcedo, Gerhard Richter, etc.), which have always been nicely organized and beautifully presented. The permanent collection is surprisingly limited for a museum this size, though there are some very...More

I love a quick museum tromp & being here with challenged clients left time for only a few exhibits. Always something at MCA that creates conversation & wonder.

A bit disappointed with the collection they have there - mostly pictures, photography that's on exhibition except the ones from the Japanese artist. Having said that, the gift shop is great - lots of interesting books and gadgets

This museum focuses on contemporary art and the collection was surprisingly small (to be fair, the Murakami exhibit was not yet opened). Some of the art is interesting to me, some is challenging and some just leaves me confused, but if you're looking for somewhat...More

The museum might be interesting, but only 4-5 rooms are visibile as the rest is being refurbished or whatever. We paid 9$ from the 12$ for this reason, still too much to see but a very small selection. It should be for free for the...More

This museum is a gem and sits right off Michigan Avenue by Water Tower Place. It is architecturally beautiful and has some of the most wonderful exhibits. Stop by on your visit and pick up a brochure there as they often have wonderfully unique showings...More

They have very few exhibits and of the exhibits that they do have, small collections. A family member wanted to go so I went along but I was disappointed. If they are going to charge $12 for an adult they need to provide a broader...More

My last day in Chicago I decided on a whim to check out this museum. It closed at 5:00pm and it was already 4:00pm when I went to get my ticket. It was 9$ (I assume because it was closing time soon) for entrance. All...More

Had looked forward to this but was very unimpressed. Barely anything to see and much of what there was, was pretty pretentious. Better museums of contemporary art other places.

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy
Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of
restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities.
You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

I don't have an answer but I thought you might want to try a phone number posted on the museum's website for the "Performance Programs" area: 312-397-4085
