Enjoyable walk

Lots of stores, a few rolling hills, plenty of great restaurants. Good people watching. Some unique store, most high end and mid range ones as well.

Now don't get me wrong, it is nice to walk this stretch in Chicago, and yes there are a lot of stores it just wasn't neccassarily our type of stores. Like I said we did enjoy the walk and going in and out of stores , we just didn't buy.

It's my third time staying in a hotel on Michigan Avenue. It is like fifth avenue in New York just the people are way friendlier. The strip is nicely kept with flowerbeds, beautiful people, awesome restaurants, nice hotels, historic buildings and unlimited shopping opportunities for really expensive stuff. Always worth a trip

This is a must see in chicago even if you're not here for the shopping. It's a nice stretch of street to walk and people watch or window shop.

Early this morning I walked Michigan Avenue. What a fabulous street. Certainly full of the entire range of retail but also very enjoyable from a planning and architectural point of view. A must walk.

Travelled to Chicago with wife, teenaged daughter and boyfriend so shopping was on the agenda :-) If you like shopping, or being a husband and dad to daughters, the Magnificent Mile is the place. Don't forget your credit card :-)

Walk this mile and just window shop or walk in. From the Michigan Ave bridge to Oak street beach and back. Food is pricey but Water tower has good selections on the Mezzanine,

A great area for shopping and people watching. There is a wide selection of stores to choose from and many are "extra large" in size. If you're a shopper or like to window shop...this is your meca.

The Magnificent Mile is always a must when traveling to Chicago. We do a lot of window shopping, but there are a few stores that I like to go into. I was especially sad to hear that Crate and Barrell will no longer have their store, so am glad I visited it this trip.

Thank Suzanne M
