We went for the Terracotta Warriors but found out they closed a few days earlier. That was disappointing. The other exhibits that were extra were boring. Enjoyed about half of it. Lots of the stuff is very outdated and looks like it could use a refresh. The dinosaur stuff was awesome.

This place is ENORMOUS!!! We thought that we'd plan on spending a few hours and visit another attracting afterwards, but we barely got to see a few exhibits because the museum is so incredibly big! It was fantastic and laid out really well, however, plan on an entire day adventure here. The food court is VERY pricey, so make sure... More

Me and my girlfriend are both in our early-mid 20's and we had a blast, there was so much to see and do and you definitely get your moneys worth.

This is one of my top 3 museums in Chicago (the other 2 being the Art Institute and the aquarium). Honestly, it would probably take 1 week to be able to visit all of the exhibits. My favorites are ancient Egypt, the Americas, and the dinosaurs. We usually visit at least once a year to see some of the special... More

We mostly walked around the sections with all the animals, and they are magnificent. The taxidermy is remarkable. Not to mention the whole place has wonderful architecture! It was a great day for sights and learning! Highly recommended!!

We were just staying for a couple of days and my daughter wanted to go to the aquarium but there was an hour's wait in the bitter cold for admission so we detoured to the museum instead and what a wonderful detour. We spent about five hours and it wasn't nearly enough time to go through the museum. I resented... More

Always worth a visit . Lots of great traveling and permanent exhibits . Of note was an exhibit we just saw on the people on the Americas. This is a permanent exhibit that is worth a look .
