Chicago's breath-taking National Landmark Theatre hosts concerts, comedians, theatrical productions and special events every year. The 3,600 seat auditorium is seven stories high, and the vertical "C-H-I-C-A-G-O," sign is one of the few such signs in existence today. A symbol of State Street and Chicago, the marquee is a landmark in itself, as is the Wurlitzer pipe organ. Patrons can also go behind-the-scenes on their educational venue tour, which runs a few times a week.

We saw the Avett Brothers for three nights in November. This is a very neat building. We sat in three different sections all three nights and had a great view each time. Would definitely go back!

The Chicago Theatre is ornate but still cool. We sat on the mezzanine at a table of four which was great for watching our show and having drinks/snacks. I felt like the waitress walked by our table enough that she was helpful without being in...More

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and
flavor. This central business district boasts
Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier
shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep
your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
