This is beautiful restored theater that provides a great spot for a concert, play, or movie. We’ve enjoyed a number of intimate performances in this small theater. We also enjoy the vintage movies offered throughout the year, with fun themed weeks. An added treat is...More

Beautiful theater whose architecture is rarely found outside of Europe. Great acoustics. Seating is a bit cramped.

Have been to the Virginia Theatre many a time. Always a great place for more obscure movies or plays. Seats are comfy and they have great staff that move quick and are friendly.

Please return with me to one of the great theatres of the 1920's - a fully restored, fully functional entertainment for the new millennium. Comfortable seats, not a bad seat in the house, and, most of all, top flight entertainment in friendly surroundings.

We didn’t have time to attend an event here, but from the marquee and flyers it seems to have an active schedule of events, many live music events. It seems to be a nicely restored venue in a safe neighborhood. It’s good that Champaign has...More

Great atmosphere for music. These concerts were worth every penny. Letdowns: long restroom wait in between sets. Very obnoxious drunks ( at Prine) tried to ruin the fun and couldn't shut uup.

So sorry to have missed your question! The Virginia does indeed feature a bar service at select live shows - in our eastern lobby on the theatre's main floor - courtesy of Farren's Pub & Eatery.
