Great visit organized for us by Bole Tours. We got to see a lot of different animals and our tour guide also arranged for a visit to the elephant transit home.

I would if you are only able to go one on safari go to Uda Walawe. Personally I don’t think that Yala or Wilppatu were as good.

Elephants are roaming in the park. Good to see wild animals near safari track. jeeps are available on arrival no need to book in advance. one should have time and money to take this safari.

Saw several elephants, young and old, buffalo, deer and many birds. DON'T GO on a weekend or public holiday, if you can avoid it, as 4x4s greatly outnumbered the elephants.

Maybe its the high expectation, but for a 3-4 hour safari, we saw 3 crocodiles (in a distance) and 15-20 elephants and lots of buffalos. If you have been to Africa this is not worth it.
