We visited on a chilly wet May Friday. We had fun even with a CRAZY amount of school busses on field trips. We only felt the crowd in one building and generally could see anything we wanted any time. Only 2 food places were open...More

A great spacious family orientated zoo. Be prepared to walk but a great day for the kids. Several playscapes and Dont skip the kids museum inside where they can act out a zookeeper!!

We were thinking of a trip to the zoo in March. Is that not an ideal time to go? What can we expect to be closed in March? Also, how much of zoo is outdoor? Indoor?
