We are Idaho's #1 outdoor adventure company. We provide scenic whitewater jet boat tours in Hells Canyon, guided fishing & hunting trips, & much more! When you go on a trip with Killgore Adventures, you are traveling with the locals. We are a family owned and operated business and our trips start right in the heart of Hells Canyon right where all the big whitewater begins.

Captain Kurt Killgore has been driving jet boats for almost 18 years now, 15 of them commercially with 100% safety rate.

Our main trip, the Wild River Tour, is six hours long where you go through the complete wild river section of the Snake River. The trip is 32 miles each way making four key stops and running all the whitewater rapids Hells Canyon has to offer. We go through Granite Creek and Wild Sheep Creek Rapids which are class 4/5 and numerous class 3 rapids along the tour which are exciting for everybody.

Check out our video to learn more about the historical stops we make along the way, the lunches we provide our guests, the engines on our boats, and many other common questions our customers ask. We hope you will consider booking one of these exciting trips with us! #killgoreadventures

Four girlfriends and I had a great experience through Kilgore Adventures. From beginning to end, Heather was welcoming, informative and accommodating. The lodging was clean and provided the basic necessities for an extended weekend getaway. Our guide Rusty was wonderful - he provided us with his suggestions for ideal fishing spots but also let us decide based on our interests.... More

Our group of girlfriends needed time away. Time away from work, kids, LIFE. This trip provided a release - we relaxed in the midst of nature while enjoying fishing. We caught an 8' 8" Sturgeon, 20lb Wild Chinook Salmon, Rainbow Trout and MANY small mouth bass. It was a trip of a lifetime that only took 4days out of our... More

I highly advise that you avoid this business. I had a gift certificate for a trip with them I won at a charity auction. I scheduled my trip and a couple of days before the trip my niece was killed in a car accident. There was no father in the picture and she left behind two small children. Needing to... More

We went after Labor Day and almost everyone on our trip was a "senior citizen." There was at least one younger couple, but there was no one really young. We had heard at the office, that the boat driver could get you as wet as he wanted. For the senior crowd, he kept it relatively smooth with just a few... More

We had the whole family (a total of 13) on the river for this trip. The drive over the mountain and down to the Snake was quite pleasant, but somewhat scary for those that don't like steep drop-offs :-). The road is very well maintained and one of our party made the trip in a sedan. We only saw deer... More

We stayed at the Kilgore motel in White Bird, Idaho and it was a nice clean place to stay. They served continental breakfast outside in the morning. Then we had an option to either take a shuttle for $20 each or to drive the 17 mile drive to the marina where the boat would leave from. We opted to drive... More

Absolutely loved the six hour jet boat trip up Hell's Canyon with Killgore Adventures. It s a 17-mile drive on a good dirt/gravel road to the marina on the Snake river. Driver/guide Dustin made it interesting by regaling us with tales of the area, ranches, history, etc. On the trip, we stopped at two historic ranches, had a delicious lunch... More

Overall, a really great, unique experience given its history and topography. The crew was, with one major exception, friendly and helpful. We do recommend that at least one crew member remain with the boats at the lunch location by the dam. We observed one older couple having an extremely difficult and challenging time going down the very steep and irregular... More

We did the Wild River Hells Canyon Dam trip and had a lot of fun. It's pretty lengthy (~6 hours), but you get to see some of the most beautiful parts of Hells Canyon. The trip included a stops at 2 ranches, a beach for swimming, and at the Hell's Canyon dam visitor center. You get to go over Class... More
