Dollar Mountain has an excellent trail that allows you to go up one side and loop back on another trail. You have that option to get wonderful views via different routes. Moderate difficulty.

My son attended the daycare at the lodge while I skied at Baldy. Super nice and helpful staff...my son seemed to enjoy his time there. On his last day he had a morning lesson combined with daycare in the afternoon. For what they charge for a lesson, I would have liked to receive some kind of report from the instructor or at least a digital photo of my son in his skis. I did check out the mountain before picking up my son from daycare one day and found that the runs are pretty short and slopes gentle, nothing mind blowing. Perfect for those learning to ski/snowboard.…

Many options here for skiers of all types. The runs are not too long, but the mountain does have a bit of everything for all ski types. The is especially good when it is very cold or there are other challenging weather conditions .
