My son is an avid skier and my daughter is a beginner. They both had a good time at downhill and cross country skiing. There were many slopes open and were well maintained. There are also various hotel options close by.

The skiing at Schweitzer is some of the finest you're going to find anywhere, especially in the Pacific Northwest... As far as the ski resort, it's a nice little Resort, however probably the worst service I ever had was In the Chimney Rock Grill...

Beautiful view and staff friendly and helpful. The ski lodge at the top was a little high priced and food was not very good for price.

World class skiing, great snow, never any lines, you can usually find untracked until noon on snowy days. Prices are a bit steep, but always great skiing.

We stayed for two nights and it was wonderful. Heavy snow was falling all night so we just got dinner at the local pizza place on the mountain and relaxed the evening away.
