You can wander around this building by yourself or take a tour during standard business hours. It's not the most ornate tabernacle I've seen, but there is some nice craftsmanship. There are massive trees on the grounds and we sat on the shaded lawn for...More

We drove from Salt Lake to see the inside of the Paris Tabernacle since the website said it was open daily. Not correct. It is open part of the year and only when the guide is in the booth out front. Fortunately there were some...More

Absolutely stunning, guide was very informative and the history is amazing. The wood on the ceiling, walls and pews were totally amazing and the stain glass windows. Definately worth stopping and touring for the information and decor

This was a cool historical site. It is a LDS (Church) site. However the architecture was amazing! This is a FREE place to visit . It is family friendly. It is a rather short tour it will not take you more than 45 min.

The person who showed us the Tabernacle was VERY knowledgeable about the history of the Tabernacle and the community in which it is located.

Who knows that the first tabernacle was set up by the Mormons in Paris Idaho before they migrated it to Salt Lake City. This small town is dominated by the edifice of a powerful architecture.
