A good collection from Sun Valley's long heritage of skiing. It's fun to look at the changes in style (skis and gear) over the years, very glad it's preserved in an approachable manner.

The museum has an interesting display of Ernest Hemingway's time in Sun Valley and also of the early history of the valley. Best of all, it's free. Good way to spend a couple of hours if the weather is bad.

I was looking forward to my visit, but unfortunately they have moved away from the ski aspect and it was all about local history. Not bad, but also not appreciably different than any other small town Idaho museum except that there is a small area...More

Fascinating collection which skillfully takes you through the history of Sun Valley. The engaging curator walked us through the museum and shared personal insight. Even if you don't like "museums", you will be enriched by a visit to this one of a kind gem.
