Me and my little guy go on little trips all the time. This is one of our favorite places to go. The waterpark is fun, hotel rooms are great, the town has lots of fun little things to do including an old mine. :)

Went up to go hiking, drink, and hanging out with friends and family. Beautiful from the top. Not many people hanging around for a weekend. Employees super nice. Cool area! Hidden gem for sure.

This is a fun gondola ride. A relaxing ride to the top. Beautiful views. The down side is that the widows on the gondola cars are extremely scratched from years of being banged by snowboards and skis. Still, the ride is pretty cool. As a bonus, there's a ski lift open at the top that will give you a round... More

Went here to ride while staying in the CDA area. Expected big crowds over the end-of-summer holiday weekend but the place was eerily empty. We rode the gondola several times and never waited in line. Chair 3 was dead as well. The trails were well built and adequately marked. We always knew where we were and were never surprised by... More

Excellent trails and super convenient. Corkscrew was my favorite trail section. No lines at the lifts, even on a holiday weekend.

We went up for Brew Fest and the views were incredible! Worth the ticket just for the gondola experience.

We recently visited Idaho and had learned from a co-worker of an interesting gondola ride in Kellogg, ID. We drove from the resort we were staying in and bought our tickets for about an hours worth of eye-popping ride. The gondola track goes from one side of a mountain, to the valley between before then ascending the next mountain and... More

Well we had two that struggle with rides and heights lol. However they overcame their fears to join us on the gondola ride and once we reached the top, rode on the open chair lift. Very enjoyable time for all. Nice restaurant at the top, if your into mountain biking the trails look awesome from the gondola. Sorry no first... More

The quality of the trails were the best I have seen. They clearly put a huge amount of work developing the trails, and the trails have great variety. HOWEVER, the trails were extremely poorly labeled, mostly at the top which is strange. Avoid Chair 3 (incredibly slow with minimal vertical rise). The difficulty ratings were misleading, mostly for inexperienced riders.... More

I've traveled up the mountain in the gondola many times before when I used to ski as well as when guests have visited me. This time we had guests from Wisconsin and the mountain had a mountain bike competition going on, so there was activity everywhere. As usual, the views are fabulous and the staff is super. Great views of... More
