Not bad for a small town.

Every 6 months or so they rotate items from one museum to another one. So this way you can go twice a year to see the different things.

We went to the explosion demo the other day and had a great time. The lady in charge did a great job intoducing the presenter and letting everyone know when and what the next one would be the following month. This demo was a hands on one for the kids. The presenter was from Idaho NAtional Laboratory (INL) and knew... More

This museum is one of the best of the smaller museums you find in cities of our size. They have brought in so many different exhibits on loan that I can't even count them all but I think my favorite was The Titanic exhibit. Wow, it even had some of the dinner plates, tickets and other artifacts of that terrible... More

The current exhibit Rome was pretty neat. Good mix of things for the kids to touch and do and things for adults to be interested in. The kids' playroom upstairs is always a hit with our kids. They beg to go there. The downstairs has a neat old-time village but it was under renovation when we went this time. I'm... More

Had a lot of fun here! Really enjoyed coming and learning about ancient Rome. (That is what was featured during our visit.) They had quite a few other exhibits we have been very interested in, but missed them due to scheduling conflicts. They rotate through them rather quickly. They have a facebook page, and apparently you can get some good... More

It was ok, was hoping to see more artifacts from this era but mostly saw just examples, not sure it was worth $10 a person

The museum has had some great exhibits come through over the years. We've seen one on Abraham Lincoln, the Titanic, the first explorers to reach the South Pole, dinosaurs. Currently, they're showing one on Rome that my kids have gone to a couple of times already and have loved it.

The exhibits are educational, interesting and informative. The price charged is very reasonable. The Museum is clean well lighted and people are available to answer questions. We especially enjoyed a recent exhibit of Egypt artifacts of the Valley of the Kings.

For a local museum, this place is capable of attracting top notch displays. They change out at a reasonable frequency and you're on to the next excellent display. If you have the time, this is a place to go.
