While we were staying at the nearby state park in our motor coach, our son and his wife came from Twin Falls on their Harley to meet us for lunch at the restaurant. They'd been there previously awhile back, really enjoyed themselves, and looked forward to treating us to something special. Much to his chagrin it didn't turn out that... More

The Clam chowder is potato soup. The Cesear is a salad with vinegarette dressing. The food is expensive. We sat in the Bar, and it took a very very long time for our appetizers to arrive. The Blue Noir wine is very good. Drink the wine, eat down town. Sorry, I really hope it gets better. This is meant to help.

Two years ago, under the old management, the food was really good at this restaurant but don't waste your money now. It's over priced and they seriously don't have good food. The grounds and golf course are gorgeous though.

Great food, creative menus with numerous special event themed dinners. Good wine and beautiful setting on the Snake River. Try the Reisling, although the other wines are good too.

The pictures I posted are from their Sunday Buffet. It's $15 for all you can eat! The food is always local to Idaho and in some cases estate grown! Always house made tasty dishes :) the servers are very nice and attentive. Beautiful grounds

While traveling home from Montana, we decided to find a place to rest with our RV. We checked out one stop from our smart phone, drove there and it wasn't for us. Then we checked the next place and as we drove through a historic quaint town, Glenns Ferry, we came upon Carmela Vineyards RV Park. A small RV park... More

My bucket list is to wine taste in every state so Idaho was an inevitable stop. The place is beautiful on the outside and is right on the river which was beautiful. The wines were decent. A couple of whites were good, which I usually do not like, but the Bleu Noir was particularly good and was from some grape... More

Was simply travelling through Idaho, needing a place to park the travel trailer, and found this quaint, rustic winery with a neighboring RV campground. 1) We like wine, and 2) we needed a place to anchor the RV. This small winery was fantastic and we enjoyed tasting every wine they craft. So much so, we bought 4 bottles worth and... More

We stopped at Glenn's Ferry in Idaho and was shocked. What a great little town to tour in. We stayed at the RV park across form the Carmela EWinery and no one was there! No one. I played 9 holes at the cours (rented clubs and a cart), had dessert and coffee at the winery, did wine tasting, and walked... More
