Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent park for kids of all ages. We took our near 2 year old and he was able to play on most everything. When the water part was turned on at 1100 he and lots of other kids loved it. We did notice that it was very busy the later into the day it became. Likely due to those of us leaving for nap time made way for many more older kids

There is goose poop EVERYWHERE!!!
You can’t even walk your dog or play with your kids on the grassy areas or the paths.
Why won’t Coeur d’Alene clean this up? They should follow Sandpoint’s plan to kill the geese.
My proposal is to kill the geese and feed them to the homeless.
I would encourage people to enjoy this spot if only the goose poop was gone!

Nice downtown park with lots to see and do. Great place to walk and look at all the things downtown has to offer. Water, restrooms, the lake, resort, library, monuments, hiking, splash area and so much more to enjoy.

A beautiful park on the lake with lots of greenery. The lawns and gardens are manicured nicely. The statues and other artistic structures are beautiful and meaningful. A great place for anyone to enjoy and relax in the outdoors.

This is a very nice city park next to a vibrant marina. It is well manicured with sculptures and flower gardens scattered throughout. The paved walkways for bikers, joggers, and pedestrians are wide enough to be used with out intruding on other’s personal space. There is even a snack bar and restroom for your convenience. The well used large playground has a splash pad that I suspect is well used in the summer. Plenty of free on street parking (2 hour limit), and paid parking lots close by.

I used to enjoy going to McEuen Park every week before the multi million dollar fix. It was nice to sit on a hill and watch a baseball game or get a walk and some fresh air. All the Park needed was some shade trees planted, a decent rest room and park benches to sit on, but instead the place has been cemented over, free parking eliminated and a historic beautful tree cut down . Turning it into a history museum it appears. I don t go downdown since they ruined the park.

This was a great choice to make a pit stop on our way to Seattle. We dined at the outdoor restaurant that overlooks the lake. It has trails, a large playground with a splash pad & an off-leash dog area. There was a huge patch of lawn and 3 deer were enjoying eating the grass as people took photos of them.
The restrooms were clean and we enjoyed getting out of the car and walking around such a beautiful area. Our dog really enjoyed running and getting out into the clean, fresh air.

We weren't here for very long - just long enough to play in the splash pad for 20 minutes and then have a picnic for a bit.
The park is large so there is plenty of room to spread out. We only saw about half of the park so I'm unsure what all there is available. The splash pad was really nice and obviously loved by many. Our kids were too young to use the playground but that looked really nice as well.

We were on our way from Denver to Seattle and decided to at least stop to see a bit of Coeur d'Alene. So glad we did! We walked around a bit (wish we had time to do the Tubb trail) and then walked to a nearby bakery and with our cheese and things we had with us had a lovely picnic at a table near the playground. A really nice, beautiful part with nice facilities.

This is what all parks should be modeled after. Many family friendly sections and a huge grassy area. There are water features and a playground for the kids. They have a farmers market and live music too. Also there is a sectioned off area for a dog park.
