We arrived expecting "full Hook-ups" as advertised in the RV Idaho Directory. There was no sewer hook-up, only a dump station at the park exit. We had power and water and were told very bluntly that they were a "campground" not and "RV park".
The groundskeeper in the golf cart is really rude and and confrontational. The girl in the office had issues with basic math. The location itself is beautiful. If we didn't have to interact with employees it would have been great.
Stayed there several days, quiet & most of the RV sites set close to the Salmon River. It also has a B&B where the main office is located.

Stayed at Challis Hot springs for the weekend for an ultra I was running taking place in the area. Mike was very accommodating with my early schedule. The pools we very clean and nice to soak in after a hard day on the trails.
Ooo what a wonderful place!! We have been to a lot of hot springs on our travels and this one is at the top!
Crystal clear and clean.
Huge- and I mean HUGE pool 98 degrees. Smaller pool 107 degrees.

Went to go stop there and swim and they said no kids allowed - unless you pay for overnight camping. Have camped there in the past and they said no floating devices at all. Well, try holding a 2 year old for hours of swimming....More
