The Payette River Flyer adventure offers a unique journey into some of the best scenery in Southwest Idaho along the North Fork Payette River. Our train will travel along remote stretches of the Payette river and through the dense Boise National Forest. Adventurers can relax and enjoy the pristine scenery with glimpses of native Idaho wildlife along the way. Train service June- September

It truely was an awesome train ride in some of the most beautiful country Idaho has to offer.The Employees on the train were all smiles and answered any questions we had on the ride.

Best way to get to the Cabarton. No need for shuttle, beats the cluster at the put-in, get to scout the river on the way up. Plus very scenic views.More

There is no signage to the train station at the Ashly Inn. The station was a mess of empty cardboard boxes and litter. Once again there is no link between their Thunder Mountain Line and the Payette River Flyer websites. Once again I was told...More
