Off the beaten path near Twin Falls, Idaho. Amazing rock formation and scenic area. There is also a small campground nearby. Worth a visit!

The rock and surrounding area is worth the trip. Worth the climb to the top. Take it all in. 20 minutes away is Miracle Springs. A great hot springs resort

It's a bit off the beaten track but a good paved county road to travel on. The canyon nearby and small county park is a good place to have a picnic on nice days. Also interesting rock formations.

Miles and miles of nothing but sage brush and hay and then a few rocks. The balanced rock is interesting but we didn't think it was that impressive. Maybe we have done too much traveling. Out in the middle of nowhere and I mean nowhere....More

There is just one balanced rock to see, not many. There is a ravine which is just south of the balanced rock with a camping area which is interesting to stop and see.

Are you planning on camping here? I believe it's mostly a picnic area and it would be first come first serve.

I would guess at least two hours which gives you time to get there from Twin Falls, spend a little time there and get back to Twin Falls.
