We enjoyed driving the 4.5 mile automobile circuit of the refuge grounds. We had hoped to spot a moose, but did not. We did observe and photograph a herd of deer. The drive can be done as slowly as you like. There is room for...More

Came here at recommendation of our hotel, great, simple, day trip. It was a bit hot today but a short hike, visit at the visitor center and the auto tour was just perfect.

Lovely hike to Myrtle Falls. Wheelchair accessible for the first part (to the bridge where you can see the creek), then a few switchbacks up the hill to get a view of the falls. Well worth the 20-30 minutes to make the stop.

Drive around the refuge and you will see many animals and amazing views. Stop and take a walk up to the waterfall and you have several great spots for photos.
