This is the place to get on the Boise River and begin your float. We saw people using everything from good solid rafts to oversized rubber duckies! Bring a water gun and have fun getting others wet.

We were a party of 4 who went rafting down the Boise River during the middle of the week. It was uncrowded, saw lots of duck families with their ducklings. The trip took about two and a half hours and was very peaceful and uneventful.

The park offers a $3 shuttle from where the rafts end back to the park. The rafts can be rented of various sizes from float tubes to 6 man rafts. The distance is about 7 miles takes about 2 hours to raft. Fun, and cool.

I am sorry to say,no! While it is primary safe, it is a river you will be floating on. Besides there is the element of the river being crowded with others. Take the kids to the water park, maybe,or the Children's museum,on... More

I wouldn't take children that young. Not until they at least know how to swim. The current in the river can be really strong, and even though they have life jackets on, they can get stuck on objects that are under the water... More
