This is a treasure of Boise! Please find time, especially in the Spring or Summer to visit this very beautiful place. At Christmas it is a glow with the holiday spirit. You won’t regret a visit!
During Christmas the volunteers light the trees, offer a Santa for kids and a few snacks to purchase, Its a colorful setting to walk around, warm your hands at one of the many fire pits and enjoy the holiday spirit.
The Botanical Gardens are beautiful in the summer and when Winter Garden Aglow is on. Smell all the flowers in the summer and see the pretty lights in winter.

Beautiful Christmas lighting. Weather was perfect. Trails well marked. Caroling. Hot chocolate and coffee perfect.
We went to see the light display that they feature around Christmas time. It was wonderful! There were food vendors and the light displays were beautiful. Seeing all of the dormant plants makes you want to return in the spring and summer also.
