Even though they weren’t offering organized tours we made the best of it. They had a scavenger trip/quiz we were able to work on and use as a great way to keep the kids involved and learning at the same time

I was able to stroll through the state capital on a Sunday and explore the whole building. The building is beautiful inside. I walked up and down the stairs and sat in the galleries of each house. I had a great time exploring.

If you are spending a weekday in Boise, this should be something you should visit. There is even a pleasant Idaho themed shop in the ground level.

This is a nice place to stop for a few minutes. We saw everything we were interested in in half and hour. There is metered parking on the street in front of the capitol. There is a lot of different colored granite inside and it's...More

When I was in Olympia a while back, I could see the beautiful capital building as I was running/walking around the lake, but it wasn't clear how I could get to it on foot. No so, with the Boise capital building. Just a few minutes...More

Hello, If the dog is a service animal, it is welcome in the building. For all other animals, we request they do stay outside. Thank you for your question.
