I visit the Capitol Building quite frequently and always find something I missed before. If you have never been take the tour. Also, if you are there during the legislative session stop by the gallery and watch.

Had a bit of time to kill while waiting for a friend so checked out the Capitol building. Walked around a little and then went below to visit the gift shop which has a lot of cool trinkets and local items.

Having been through Boise many times, we'd never laid over for a day to look at things. The capitol was close to downtown. Beautiful building. Really good descriptions, exhibits, and history write-ups. The legislature wasn't in session so we had it pretty much to ourselves....More

If you enjoy visit state capitols then this is worth a visit. It's quite small and unfortunately doesn't fill you in on its description.

Free Parking on Weekend and Immaculate Architecture, and the security guard was vary helpful and knowledgeable about all kinds of stuff relating to Our Capitol Building History. The Capitol Grounds are Beautiful. Great Place For Photography.

This is worth seeing. The exterior is worth a picture or two and the interior and dome interior is also worth a picture or two.

The regular tours are Monday - Friday at 10am and 1pm each day.
