I always try to visit the zoo's in every city, and I was a little disappointed with this one. We got there at opening (10:00 a.m.) and didn't see out first animal until 10:30. I understand they operate with volunteers, but it wasn't like it...More

First off, the zoo is working on expansion so there is an active construction zone. 2nd, if you’re coming for any of these animals you will be very disappointed as they don’t seem to have them currently: elephants, rhinos, hippos, male lions (they have lionesses),...More

The zoo is more of a conservation project and has a message beyond animals as entertainment. Really appreciated the fully-staffed zoo who were friendly. Great educational experience for younger members of the family.

Always a great place to take kids...outdoors (mostly) so they can get rid of all that energy. Animals are nice as well.

We had a family pass last year and our toddler enjoys the zoo. They are making major changes this year so a lot of the exhibits/animals are not available for viewing. We will get another family pass next year

We absolutely love our zoo, it is the perfect size and scope for kids. The giraffe slide is always our first stop, followed by a check on Mr. Mac the huge tortoise. The monkeys and birds are currently not available for viewing because of a...More
